Register for a wise card
Highly Recommended Signing up to wise and ordering a wise card for $10 AUD. You will need to register for a wise account first. Once you are registered you can than order a physical wise card through their system. The benefit of doing this is you can pay for services and products in Indonesia rupiah. Once you have registered for wise you can setup multiple currency buckets eg in AUD , USD, IDR. If your transferring money from your Australian bank account you will have BSB information in wise that you can transfer to and once the money is in your wise account you can then convert the money from AUD into IDR and than spend in IDR with out worrying about additional conversion fees.
